Using values -0.2 and -0.4 will mean that the final curve of the edge has to be in between chamfered 0.4 on both sides and 0.2 on both sides. Adding negative values will mean that the corner has to be cut (as if chamfered) with a minimum and maximum of the stated values. On external edges you should normally use negative values.
